Rich is best known as 'Harry Crane' on the multiple Emmy, Golden Globe & SAG award winning television series, \u201cMad Men.\u201d He has appeared in some of television\u2019s most popular series, including a recurring role on \u201cThe Office,\u201d \u201cCurb Your Enthusiasm,\u201d \u201cLaw & Order, CSI,\u201d \u201cNikita,\u201d \u201cUgly Betty\u201d and \u201cBurn Notice.\u201d Rich made his feature film debut as Anne Hathaway\u2019s drinking buddy \u2018Doug\u2019 in <em>The Devil Wears Prada<\/em>. Recently, he appeared in the feature films <em>Fairhaven <\/em>opposite Sarah Paulson and Chris Messina and <em>The Giant Mechanical Man <\/em>with Jenna Fischer and Topher Grace.<\/p><p> <\/p><p>A student, performer and teacher of improvisation, he received his training and experience with the Brave New Workshop in Minneapolis and the Upright Citizens Brigade in New York. He received his bachelor\u2019s degree in theatre arts from Concordia College in Moorhead, MN and went on to study at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH, where he received his Master of Fine Arts degree in acting. Rich and his \u201cMad Men\u201d cast mates have twice won the SAG award for outstanding performance by an ensemble in a drama series. Rich Sommer and his wife, Virginia, live in Los Angeles with their two children. <\/p>","website":"","alt":null}
