His other directing credits include <em>Travesties<\/em> by Tom Stoppard at the Menier Chocolate Factory and the Apollo Theatre. <em>The Caretaker <\/em>by Harold Pinter at the Comedy, <em>Blue Remembered Hills <\/em>by Dennis Potter at the National Theatre, <em>\u20181953\u2019<\/em> by Craig Raine at the Almeida and <em>The Old Neighborhood<\/em> by David Mamet at the Royal Court. He will direct the UK premiere of <em>Venus in Fur<\/em> by David Ives later this year at Theatre Royal Haymarket.<\/p><p> <\/p><p>His other plays include <em>After Miss Julie<\/em> (Donmar, Roundabout), <em>The Red Lion<\/em> (NT) and in 2016 Ivo van Hove directed Marber\u2019s version of <em>Hedda Gabler<\/em> for the National Theatre starring Ruth Wilson. His screen credits include <em>Closer<\/em> (directed by Mike Nichols), <em>Notes on a Scandal<\/em> (directed by Richard Eyre) and <em>Love You More<\/em> (directed by Sam Taylor-Wood). His plays have won <em>Evening Standard,<\/em> Olivier, <em>Time Out, <\/em>New York and London Critics\u2019 Circle and Writers\u2019 Guild Awards. His television work has received BAFTA, British Comedy and Royal Television Society Awards. His screenplays have been nominated for Golden Globe, BAFTA and Academy Awards. He received the British Independent Film Award for <em>Notes on a Scandal.<\/em><\/p>","website":"","alt":null}
